If the situation is potentially life-threatening, get immediate emergency assistance by calling 91 available hours a day. Our clinical team serves adults, adolescents and children every week.

Some whole families utilize the services we provide. How to get mental health help? How can I become a crisis intervention counselor? Counseling Center and at various church sites.


This includes children ages 3-and adults who may need help with behavioral issues. What is mental health emergency? Our licensed clinicians are trained in several therapeutic approaches to serve the community and make a difference in the lives of many El Pasoans. Community starts here.


Group counseling provides students with the opportunity to connect with others in a safe, confidential and supportive space.

The University Police Department will provide immediate assistance and notify appropriate staff who can assist with counseling services. And fee-based services are either online or face-to-face. Free crisis lines are easier on the budget #128521; and the services are provided by trained volunteers. In a pinch, they provide an instant connection with another. The Provost oversees the Behavioral Assessment Team (BAT).


They will review the information and decide whether to contact the student directly, and how to best follow-up regarding concerns. However, due to the demand for counseling services , there may be times when clinical counselors are unable to see students on the same day. In these cases, students will be given information for off campus emergency services and the priority for the first available emergency appointment the following day. UCS emergency service provides immediate assistance to individuals in crisis hours a day.


The UCS clinician on call responds to all requests. We were selected from eleven state-wide responses. Since the acquisition, Mahoning County has been under the leadership of Tammy Weaver, Vice President of Clinical. Listed below are services available in crisis situations. Monday through Friday.


Call or come to the Student Wellness Center and MAKE IT CLEAR THAT YOU ARE IN CRISIS. Victim Services Center (Sexual Assault) 24-hour Hotline 407. ES is designed to concentrate efforts on seeing an identified crisis through to an initial level of resolution.


Mental health services are available to help your family during an emergency.

These services can provide help quickly if your child is: Uncontrollable or unable to calm down. Behaving aggressively toward themselves or other people. Showing a significant change in mood or behavior.
