If eligible, persons and families are placed in appropriate emergency housing, boarding homes, or other alternative housing. Our Family Services’ Housing programs provide emergency shelter and rapid re-housing for families experiencing homelessness. Each of our housing programs includes intensive case management and provides job search guidance. The Lincoln Park Community Shelter (LPCS) is a comprehensive social service agency serving adult men and women who are experiencing homelessness.

Catholic Community Services provides a continuum of care for homeless and low-income people throughout Western Washington. The organization has joined Metropolitan Family Services to better serve victims of domestic violence.

We have consistently over the years had much greater demand for our services than we’ve had capacity. Low-income homeless families are eligible for EA shelter if they live at or below 1 of the federal poverty level and have lost their homes to fire, natural disaster, loss of income, were living in unhealthy or unsafe conditions or were forced to leave their housing because they were victims of domestic violence.
